I'm Lynzee. I'm a Michigan photographer specializing in weddings and portraiture. I picked up a DSLR camera in 2009 after my first child was born and never put it down. I strive to capture genuine connections and amazing lighting in my work. If you're looking for perfection and lots of everyone looking at the camera poses, I'm not your girl. I include a few of those in every gallery, but I prefer to prompt you in ways that bring out genuine moments and movement. I'm very laid back and love for everyone (the kids especially) to have a stress free, fun photoshoot.

I'm a firm believer that nobody knows you better than you. I love creating self portraiture based on other art that's had an impact in my life--particularly music. I offer 1:1 mentoring if you'd like to learn more about how to create your own.

In 2013 I graduated from Alma College with a Bachelor's degree in art and design and currently teach photography classes there. My family has a long history of teaching and it found its way to me as well. I also offer 1:1 mentoring sessions for anyone looking to work on their creative process with photography.
